I have a paper green screen in my garage studio and I have videos on my YouTube channel using it but what I like about a portable green screen is just that I can close it up and move it. For me that's cruacial. I also like that I can store it in the corner of my garage. So what green screen do I consider the best for me? Well let's talk about the newest Green Screen from ELGATO. It's BIG compared to their older pop up version. They also have a large desk mouse pad and a pull down version. the New XL has some advantages. First: You can get further in front of it for less spill (that Green Cast around you) TWO: That allows more room to light it between you and the screen. Three: That allows for more movement. ALso i like the new design because it seems to be more stable than the old design.
Will I get one? Time will tell....
I am far more intrugued by this version. This is a great option for home studios and portable shoots. Pull it up behind you on a zoom call or for gaming is huge. For me it will be a great tool for Live Streaming and possible for mhy Studio B.
